Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin has established himself as arguably the most valuable player for the team. Playing in 75 games last season, he had his best campaign of his career averaging 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists while shooting 46.2% from the field, 36.2% from three-point range and 75.3% from the free-throw line.

However, a torn meniscus hampered his health at the end of last season, and kept him from playing in the first two playoff games against the Milwaukee Bucks. After having surgery to correct the problem this offseason, Griffin has missed the first several games of the 2019-20 season.

But does he have any regrets? Not at all.

“I would do it over again, especially in the playoffs, for sure,” Griffin told Shams Charania of The Athletic. “If I can play, I can play. It didn’t do any more damage, (the meniscus) got taken care of, and I feel great now.”

You definitely can’t doubt Blake Griffin’s heart and desire!
