Bob Quinn signs first player as new Lions GM

According to reports, Detroit Lions new GM Bob Quinn has signed his first player, WR Austin Willis out of Emporia State, to a reserve-future deal.

As an undrafted free agent, Willis spent parts of the last offseason with the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills.

Though Willis is only listed at 5-foot-9, 175 pounds, he has great athletic ability.

From Tim Twentyman at DetroitLions.com:

The receiver garnered quite a bit of attention at his Pro Day when he recorded a 4.3-second 40-yard dash and a 40-inch vertical leap. He also bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times. He signed with Oakland as a free agent after the 2014 NFL Draft.
