Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand is known as one of the top pests in the National Hockey League, and that extends to off the ice as well.

Following his team’s 4-1 triumph at TD Garden in Boston over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday afternoon, Marchand threw a little shade towards Detroit – who have the NHL’s worst record.
“It doesn’t happen often but they’re always fun when they do,” Marchand said of being able to convert a fancy pass to forward David Pastrnak. “They tend to be against the bottom teams. You don’t really do that against the top teams. It’s always fun when guys make plays and capitalize.”
Unfortunately, there’s little room for any sort of comeback for anyone on the Red Wings to make. At 14-42-4, they easily have the NHL’s worst record – though two of those wins have indeed come against the Bruins.
Here’s hoping it won’t be too long before it’s the Red Wings doling out some punishment in the form of victories!
