Bracket shows USA Men’s Basketball will have tough road to Gold Medal

Let's get something straight. This is NOT the Dream Team.

Many people have been bashing the United State's Men's Basketball team for their struggles as of late but those people clearly do not realize that the team is very watered down compared to past Olympic teams.

That being said, the USA is still the favorite to win the Gold Medal at the Tokyo Olympics but their road to Gold is going to be very difficult.

The USA will get things started with a matchup against Spain in the Quarterfinals before a probable matchup against Australia in the Semifinals and then potentially France or Slovenia in the Gold Medal Game.

I believe the USA will get the job done and bring home the Gold Medal but it will not be easy.

Quarterfinal matchups in men’s Olympic basketball:

France vs. Italy
Slovenia vs. Germany

United States vs. Spain
Australia vs. Argentina

So @usabasketball will likely have to beat Spain, AUSTRALIA and the France/Slovenia winner consecutively to win a fourth straight gold.
