Brad Ausmus hoodie goes for more than $5,000 in charity auction

During a recent game against the Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers manager Brad Ausmus was ejected after arguing balls and strikes with the home plate umpire. Ausmus was suspended one game for his actions, which included laying his sweatshirt down over home plate. It was announced later that the hoodie and his hat (that Ausmus threw towards the field) were going to be auctioned off at MLB.com.

Well – you can stop bidding. The results are in!

As noted above, the winning bid of $5,010 will go to benefit the Tiny Tigers t-ball association. This program is partnered with the Detroit PAL and involves children ages four through eight. Click here for more information on Tigers youth baseball programs.
