Brad Holmes divulges what some in Rams organization said to him after Super Bowl win

Brad Holmes is currently the general manager of the Detroit Lions but prior to coming to the Motor City, he spent 18 seasons with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams.

During his time with the Rams, Holmes helped build a roster that would eventually go on to win the Super Bowl.

Following the Rams Super Bowl LVI win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Holmes texted some in the Rams organization and their response was pretty cool.

“Hey, you’re a part of this. They didn’t have to say that, but that was really cool for them to say”

Holmes is currently in Indianapolis for the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine.

He is scheduled to meet with the media later today.

During the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, Holmes was asked if he was open to trading the No. 2 overall pick and he answered as we expected he would.

“I’m always open for whatever. We’re still in the early stages of it. We’ve got a good feel of the class, (and) we’re at a much better place at this stage of the process than last year,” Holmes said. “But, still, we’ve got a lot more work to do. But, I’m never scared to move around, so we’re definitely open for business, always.”

When asked about what the Lions need to upgrade in the offseason, Lions head coach Dan Campbell was pretty honest.

“I’m going to be as very generic as I can,” Campbell said. “Just upgrading in all areas, that’s where we need some help. Certainly, you’d like to add a receiver. You’d like to add a linebacker. You’d like to add a little depth at o-line and DB. So we’re just looking for help a little bit of everywhere.”

Nation, if Holmes can find a trade partner, would you like to see him trade out of the No. 2 spot in the 2022 NFL Draft?
