Earlier today, the Detroit Lions officially announced that they had hired Brad Holmes to be there next general manager.
Now, it appears as if Holmes has already made his first roster moves as the Lions have signed a trio of players to Reserve/Futures contracts.
Now, to be fair, we already knew about the Thedford signing on Wednesday night, so what exact role, if any, that Holmes played in these moves is unclear.
The #Lions announce that they have signed the following players to Reserve/Future contracts:
DB Godwin Igwebuike
DE Robert McCray
TE Hunter Thedford— Detroit Lions (@Lions) January 14, 2021
Brad Holmes, Welcome to Detroit! You have a big job ahead of you! and hopefully the fans will be patient as you address all the mistakes made by the previous administration.
