The award has been given out annually since its creation back in 1935. Heading into the ceremony, Murray (-190) was a slight favorite to win the award over Tagovailoa (+150), with Haskins (+6000) being a HUGE underdog.
Well, the wait is over and the winner of the 2018 Heisman Trophy is…
Kyler Murray out of the University of Oklahoma.
In 2018, Murray completed 70.9% of his pass attempts for 4,053 yards and 40 touchdowns, while only throwing seven interceptions. He also carried the ball 123 times for 892 yards and 11 touchdowns.
