According to a report from Emily Waldon, Detroit Tigers pitching prospect Kyle Funkhouser suffered a right shoulder impingement and was placed on the IL on Saturday. Waldon noted that a return timeline has not yet been confirmed, according to Toledo Mud Hens’ manager, Doug Mientkiewicz.

Funkhouser, who is the Tigers’ No. 11 prospect according to MLB Pipeline, is 0-3 with a 7.64 ERA in six starts with the Mud Hens this season.
