According to Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press, Daniel Norris will assume Matt Moore's place in the starting rotation, per Tigers head coach Ron Gardenhire.

Daniel Norris has come in as a relief pitcher twice so far this season. Over those two games, he has posted a 5.06 ERA, given up five hits and and three earned runs. He's also walked three batters and struck out two with a WHIP of 1.50 through 5.1 innings pitched.

In today's game against the Royals, Norris gave up two home runs in relief of Matt Moore, who exited due to injury. The injury is a reported knee strain and he'll likely only miss a few games.
