According to head coach Matt Patricia, the Detroit Lions have released RB Theo Riddick. The move was made to make room for newly signed DT Mike Daniels.

With the move, it looks like the Lions will be content rolling with running backs Kerryon Johnson, C.J. Anderson, Zach Zenner, and rookie Ty Johnson.
