BREAKING: Detroit Lions release wide receiver prior to rookie mini camp

According to the Detroit Lions, they have released wide receiver Brandon Reilly prior to the start of rookie minicamp.

Reilly, who is 25, has bounced around the league a bit since originally being signed by the Buffalo Bills in 2017.

The Lions signed Reilly to their practice squad in December of 2018 before releasing him a month later. At the conclusion of the season (Jan. 22) the Lions signed him to a reserve/futures contract.

He has not yet played in an NFL game.
