According to Ian Rapoport, the Detroit Lions and Quandre Diggs have agreed on terms to a contract extension.
It will be a 3-year extension worth $20.4 million.

Though Diggs only played 5 games at safety for the Lions in 2017, Bob Quinn and company obviously saw enough to pay him higher annual salary than they pay Glover Quinn.
Originally drafted by the Lions in the 6th Round of the 2015 NFL Draft, Diggs originally started off at cornerback before switching over to safety late in the 2017 season. Last season, in 16 games (11 starts), Quinn had nine passes defended and three interceptions.
