From Detroit Lions:
The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent TE Austin Traylor. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.
Traylor comes to Detroit from the Salt Lake Stallions of the Alliance of American Football, where he caught two passes for 12 yards in eight games.
Prior to the AAF, Traylor was part of the Denver Broncos’ practice squad in 2017 and was elevated to the active roster, where he contributed in seven games (three starts) and recorded eight receptions for 100 yards.
Traylor originally entered the League in 2016 as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Dallas Cowboys out of University of Wisconsin. He spent the 2016 season on the practice squads of the Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens.
