As the Detroit Lions begin preparations for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, they have announced they have signed an offensive lineman.

On Monday, the Lions announced they have signed offensive tackle, Dan Skipper to the practice squad. In a corresponding move, they waived offensive tackle Storm Norton.

Skipper, who played his college ball at Arkansas, was originally signed in May by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted rookie free agent. After being waived on Sept. 2 he was then signed the next day to the Cowboys practice squad before being released on Sept. 20.
