On Thursday, head coach Matt Patricia spoke to the media before Detroit Lions kicked off their first training camp practice of the 2019 season.
During the presser, Patricia revealed that both Darius Slay and Damon Harrison will begin camp on the NFI (Non-Football injury list).

This is nothing to worry about as it is likely more of a conditioning thing than any actual injuries.
