According to reports, the Detroit Pistons have claimed free agent Christian Wood off waivers.
Wood, who has played power forward throughout his NBA career, will likely play the same positions along with a role of backup center.

In 51 career games, Wood has averaged 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
In just 8 games with New Orleans this past season, he averaged a career-best 16.9 points and 7.9 rebounds.
