Reports confirm that the Red Wings are moving on from director of amateur scouting, Tyler Wright. In addition Jeff Finley and Andrew Dickson are also no longer with the ametuer scouting staff. Glenn Merkosky and Archie Henderson, who were on the pro scouting side of things, have also been let go.

Wright is expected to join former Red Wings’ GM Ken Holland in Edmonton.
The thought is that Yzerman will soon name former Red Wings’ center Kris Draper as the new director of ameteur scouting. Draper currently serves as special assistant to the general manager in Detroit.
