According to reports, the Detroit Tigers plan on calling up LHP Ryan Carpenter to start Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Angels, allowing Tyson Ross’ start to be pushed back until Friday.

Carpenter is 1-4 with a 4.09 ERA in six starts with the Toledo Mud Hens this season.
In 2018 with the Tigers, he was 1-2 with a 7.25 ERA in six games (5 starts).
