According to reports, Detroit Tigers outfielder JaCoby Jones was forced to leave Thursday's game against the Kanas City Royals with a left elbow contusion.

Jones had been one of the hottest players in the league over the past 28 days as he has hit .360 with five home runs and 15 RBIs to go along with a 1.088 OPS during that stretch.
This news came just minutes after news broke that the Tigers No. 1 prospect Casey Mize had been injured in the Erie SeaWolves game.
