BREAKING: Detroit Tigers prospect suspended 80 games for PEDs

According to reports, Detroit Tigers prospect Reynaldo Rivera has been suspended 80 games for testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Rivera, who is 22, was a 1B for the West Michigan Whitecaps.

In 62 games this season, Rivera batted .228 with four home runs and 19 RBIs.

It’s safe to say that whatever he was taking WAS NOT “performance-enhancing.”
