BREAKING: Detroit Tigers send outfielder back to the minors

Following their 7-3 loss to the Kansas City Royals on Thursday night, the Detroit Tigers announced they have sent outfielder Victor Reyes back to Triple A Toledo. Reyes had been called up to serve as the Tigersโ€™ 26th man against the Royals.

Reyes, who replaced JaCoby Jones after he left with an injury, was 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored.

Prior to joining the Tigers for Thursdayโ€™s game, Reyes had been tearing it up in Toledo. In fact, in his last 10 games with the Mud Hens, Reyes has been on fire, hitting .439 with 5 home runs and 16 RBI while posting an OPS of 1.366.
