According to the Detroit Tigers, they have optioned OF Dustin Peterson to Triple-A Toledo.
Following today’s game, the Tigers optioned OF Dustin Peterson to Triple A Toledo. A corresponding roster move will be made prior to Tuesday’s game at Philadelphia.

The move was made following Sunday’s game vs. the Chicago White Sox.
A corresponding move will be announced prior to Tuesday’s game and it looks like Jordy Mercer will re-join the club.
Peterson will get plenty of time at first base with the Mud Hens, Gardenhire said. Shortstop Jordy Mercer will likely re-join the Tigers in Philadelphia on Tuesday.
