Following the game, Tigers’ manager Ron Gardenhire told reporters that starting pitcher Tyson Ross would be placed on the 10-day IL with right elbow ulnar neuritis.

“It came on in the last start and something that, waking up the next day, I was hoping it was feeling better,” Ross said. “But it wasn’t, so it was a couple days of treatment and now it hasn’t really improved.”
So far in 2019, Ross is 1-5 with a 6.11 ERA.
