According to reports, former Detroit Lions‘ defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham passed away on Saturday following a battle with cancer. He was 72.

Cunningham was the Lions DC under head coach Jim Schwartz from 2009-2013.
Cunningham’s family and friends are in our prayers.
