Former Detroit Lions‘ defensive tackle Haloti Ngata is retiring from the NFL.

On Monday morning, Ngata posted a message to Instagram announcing that he is, “retiring on top.”

Ngata, who was originally selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft, played 13 seasons in the league, including three seasons with the Lions.
In his career, Ngata was selected to five Pro Bowl teams and was an NFL All-Pro on two occasions.
