On Tuesday, former Michigan quarterback Brandon Peters took to Instagram to announce he is transferring to Illinois.
“I want to thank the University of Michigan for the opportunity to represent the winged helmet. The memories and friendships that I made along this journey will last a lifetime. I am excited to announce that I will be going to grad school and playing my last 2 years at the University of Illinois.” Peters said.

Peters, who was a 4-star recruit out of the Class of 2016, played in 8 games with the Wolverines over two seasons. During that time, he completed 52.7% of his passes for 680 yards and four touchdowns.
