According to reports, the wife and son of Fox Sports Detroit play-by-play man Matt Shepard have been involved in a serious auto accident.

Shepard himself recently hopped on Twitter to give an update on the situation and to thank everybody for their support. Matt said that his son is bruised and concussed but is OK. His wife, on the other hand, suffered injuries that will require multiple surgeries.
