BREAKING: Jim Caldwell to remain Detroit Lions head coach in 2017

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Detroit Lions head coach Jim Caldwell will return in 2017.

There is no word as to whether or not Caldwell, who will be going into his final season under contract with the Lions, will receive a contract extension.

Caldwell had led the Lions to playoff berths in two of the last three seasons and has an overall regular season record of 27-21 with the team.

On Saturday, the Lions will face the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the NFL Playoffs.

What do you think, Nation? Does Jim Caldwell deserve to remain head coach of the Detroit Lions?
