I can confirm the Lions have reached an agreement with RB Matt Asiata. He had an extended tryout during rookie minicamp a couple weeks back.

After appearing as though they were going to stay put at running back, the Detroit Lions have signed former Minnesota Viking Matt Asiata to a one-year deal.
Asiata played in all 16 games in 2016 and finished the season with 402 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 121 carries. He also was a decent weapon catching the ball out of the backfield hauling in 32 receptions for 263 yards.

Asiata is a power back that many fans felt the Lions were lacking. The Lions did not address running back in the draft to the dismay of some, and are now looking at heading into the season with potentially five running backs on the roster.
Never heard of her !
