Hole’s sources tell him that Wolverines’ assistant Greg Mattison is leaving Michigan and going to Ohio State.

From Wolverines Wire:

“We at WolverinesWire had teased that Michigan defensive line coach and former defensive coordinator Greg Mattison has an expiring contract and would have a decision to make. The assumption was that he would either coach at Michigan or not at all, but it turns out there was another option.

After speaking with two people close to the situation, speaking on the condition of anonymity, we’re told that Mattison is expected to accept a position at Ohio State, coaching in an unspecified role. Current defensive line coach Larry Johnson is still remaining on staff in his current position, we’re told. Mattison informed the current players as well as the signees on Monday of his intentions.”

Like it or not, Matthew Stafford is and will be OUR quarterback

When it comes to Detroit Lions‘ quarterback Matthew Stafford, either you love him and think he can lead the team to the promised land if surrounded with the proper talent, or you think he is worthless and put the majority of the Lions’ failures squarely on his shoulders.

With the Lions’ struggles in 2018, a growing number of Stafford haters began to talk about trading him as soon as possible.

For those of us with a brain, we know there is no chance that Stafford is going anywhere. Not this year. Not next year.

But to be honest, it really does not matter what any of us think. It only matters what Lions’ general manager Bob Quinn thinks.
