From Wolverines Wire:
“We at WolverinesWire had teased that Michigan defensive line coach and former defensive coordinator Greg Mattison has an expiring contract and would have a decision to make. The assumption was that he would either coach at Michigan or not at all, but it turns out there was another option.
After speaking with two people close to the situation, speaking on the condition of anonymity, we’re told that Mattison is expected to accept a position at Ohio State, coaching in an unspecified role. Current defensive line coach Larry Johnson is still remaining on staff in his current position, we’re told. Mattison informed the current players as well as the signees on Monday of his intentions.”

But to be honest, it really does not matter what any of us think. It only matters what Lions’ general manager Bob Quinn thinks.
