Win. It. All.

That is all they care about in the New York Yankees organization.

Following a 2017 campaign which saw the Yankees lose in Game 7 of the ALCS, the team decided to part way with manager Joe Girardi. The news came a quite the surprise by many, especially since most felt the Yankees overachieved by getting to within one game of the World Series.

Now, according to reports, the Yankees have decided on their next manager and it is none other than former MLB infielder, Aaron Boone.

Boone, who played 12 seasons in Major League Baseball, including the 2nd half of the 2003 season with the Yankees, was most recently an analyst with ESPN.

Boone is best known for his walk-off home run to beat the Red Sox in Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS.

REPORT: Detroit Tigers interested in signing former All-Star pitcher

As we know, the Detroit Tigers are in a full-blown rebuilding stage and expectations for the 2018 season remain low.

Tigers GM Al Avila has made it clear that the team is interested in shedding payroll while building for the future at the same time. That likely means the team will not be signing many free agents this offseason but instead trying to trade away players like Ian Kinsler, Jose Iglesias, and Victor Martinez, to name a few.

But, that does not guarantee that the Tigers will sit out free agency, completely.

On Wednesday, MLB insider Jon Morosi reported that a source of his has indicated the Tigers have expressed interest in signing former All-Star pitcher, Chris Tillman.
