On Thursday, news broke that Michigan State running back LJ Scott was arrested for driving on a suspended license. It was the seventh time Scott had faced that or a similar charge.
Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio released a statement on Friday, making a decision on Scott’s status with the team moving forward.
Statement from Mark Dantonio:
“In what has been a lengthy process, LJ Scott now has a valid driver’s license, free of any restrictions. He has resolved the matter completely, and has paid a price, both financially and publically. His status will be affected for Saturday’s game, but he will play.”

Shocker!
He didn’t surprise me. How many times has he been ‘bailed out’ in the past, and how many times in the future? Dantonio cannot allow a good player to miss a game. I will not accept the old, ‘Michigan players does it too’ rant. If it was a key Michigan player, he shouldn’t play on Saturday.
I don’t think that he would ever suspend a player who is so important. Just another case where a MSU player can break the law ,and. Won’t be repercussions
