On Thursday, news broke that Michigan State running back LJ Scott was arrested for driving on a suspended license. It was the seventh time Scott had faced that or a similar charge.
Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio released a statement on Friday, making a decision on Scott's status with the team moving forward.
Statement from Mark Dantonio:
“In what has been a lengthy process, LJ Scott now has a valid driver's license, free of any restrictions. He has resolved the matter completely, and has paid a price, both financially and publically. His status will be affected for Saturday's game, but he will play.”
