According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, eight-time Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson has been suspended for the first six games of the 2019 season for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.

Peterson is a player who many Lions fans have begged Bob Quinn to trade for throughtout this offseason as cornerback was certainly a position of need.
This is good news for Matthew Stafford and the Lions' offense as they will be playing the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 of the regular season.
