From Detroit Free Press:
Sims, a 6-foot-3, 183-pound cornerback from Westlake High School in Atlanta, redshirted as a true freshman after enrolling early last year. He was competing for a spot at cornerback for U-M during spring practice.
Sims, a 4-star recruit and the No. 170-ranked player in the country for the class of 2018, was an Under Armour All-American in high school and an early commitment to the Wolverines’ 2018 class. He pledged back in April of 2017.
