The Michigan Wolverines’ offense hit a boiling point late in the first half of Saturday night’s showdown against the Oklahoma Sooners. Trailing 7-0, frustration spilled over on the Michigan sideline following a missed 32-yard field goal by Dominic Zvada.

Freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood was visibly upset after the failed drive and appeared to crash out on Alabama transfer running back Justice Haynes. Cameras caught Underwood in an animated exchange, with teammates stepping in to keep things from escalating further.
Reporter Eli Lederman noted on social media that the confrontation seemed to be a verbal spat, with Michigan players forced to separate the two. “Not a lot going right for the Wolverines’ offense so far in Norman,” Lederman added.

While emotions boiled over in the moment, the bigger picture is clear: Michigan’s young offense is still searching for rhythm under the bright lights of a hostile road environment. The Wolverines will need Underwood and Haynes on the same page if they hope to claw their way back into this one.
