Though the status of this game being played was in doubt earlier this week, the outcome was anything but once the two teams got together on the field.

The Ohio State Buckeyes had their way with the Michigan State Spartans this afternoon, absolutely crushing them by a 52-12 final score. Ohio State’s 525 yards and 52 points were the second-most by an opponent in East Lansing in the last 100 years.
Quarterback Justin Fields posted 303 yards with four touchdowns, while the Spartans were forced to punt on six of their first seven possessions. The other possession that didn’t result in a punt was a pick-six from Rocky Lombardif
Oh, and the Buckeyes accomplished that despite being down 23 players (17 on scholarship). Ouch.
The Spartans drop to 2-4, while the Buckeyes improved to a perfect 5-0.
