Tampa Bay Bucs coach: Kaepernick is “32 with a bad shoulder”

We can now seemingly cross one team off the list of potential suitors for Colin Kaepernick.

Tampa Bay Bucs coach Bruce Arians has stated he believes Kaepernick could potentially succeed in the proper system, such as what he had under then-OC Greg Roman with the San Francisco 49ers – but didn't exactly give a ringing endorsement to bringing him aboard to Tampa.

“Obviously, the system in Baltimore, Greg Roman was his coordinator,”Arians said . “He was that style of player.”

“He’s 32 now with a bad shoulder, so that’s a big difference than (Ravens quarterback) Lamar Jackson,” Arians continued.

Under Roman as OC (and Michigan's Jim Harbaugh as coach), San Francisco to three straight NFC Championship games from 2011 to 2013. They also lost Super Bowl XLVII to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Detroit Lions are expected to have a representative at Kaepernick's much hyped workout, scheduled for Saturday the 16th.
