On Saturday, Mark Dantonio and his Michigan State Spartans had a golden opportunity to take a giant step towards winning another Big Ten Championship when they invaded the Horseshoe to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Unfortunately, the Spartans came out uninspired and the Buckeyes dominated from the get-go.

In fact, the game was essentially over by halftime as Ohio State took a 35-3 lead into the locker room.

The second half was just a formality and by the time all was said and done, the Buckeyes destroyed the Spartans 48-3. With the win, OSU is now 6-1 in the Big Ten East, a game ahead of MSU, Penn State, and Michigan, who following Saturday’s games, are all 5-2.

But the football game was not the only thing the Buckeyes dominated on Saturday. Watch as Michigan State’s mascot, Sparty, gets trolled big-time by an Ohio State fan who acted like he was going to give him five. Sparty’s reaction looked similar to that of Mark Dantonio after his team crapped the bed right off the bat against the Buckeyes.

It sure is easy to despise Ohio State and Buckeye fans!

MUST SEE: Quinn Nordin gets in Jim Harbaugh’s face after missed kick

Just about everything went the way it was supposed to in the first half for the University of Michigan football team against the University of Maryland. The Wolverines built themselves a comfortable 28-0 lead, and were well on their way to another victory.

But the half wasn’t perfect, however. One of the only blunders Michigan committed was a missed field goal that would have increased their lead to 31-0. Sophomore kicker Quinn Nordin sent a 31-yard attempt well wide of the goal posts, making it the third missed field goal in a row. He is now a pedestrian 14 of 19 on the season. He’s also missed two extra point attempts in Michigan’s last four games.
