The hope was that C.J. Cron would be able to delay knee surgery until the offseason, allowing him to return to the Detroit Tigers lineup.
Unfortunately, that will not be the case as the Tigers announced on Saturday that Cron will have surgery soon and will in turn miss the remainder of the 2020 season.
