Despite landing Cade Cunningham with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, it ended up being a rough season for the Detroit Pistons as they finished with a 23-59 record, which was the third-worst record in the NBA.
Though the Pistons did not come close to even sniffing the 2022 NBA Playoffs, a group of players from the team, along with head coach Dwane Casey met up in Boston on Monday night to watch Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
According to Omari Sankofa II, Killian Hayes and Isaiah Stewart were already in Boston for Puma meetings. Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Livers were also at the game so Casey hopped on a plane and joined them for dinner and the game.
It's great to see some team chemistry on the Pistons!
