No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick Cade Cunningham is making his much anticipated NBA debut tonight at Little Caesars Arena as the Detroit Pistons are gearing up to face the Orlando Magic.
Having missed the first four games of the 2021-22 season with a lingering ankle injury, Cunningham will be looking to aid the Pistons in their effort to earn their first win of the young campaign.
Prior to his debut against the Orlando Magic tonight, he caught up with Bally Sports Detroit host Johnny Kane and shared what's going through his mind before he officially hits the floor for the first time as a member of the Pistons.
“I feel good, I'm just happy to be playing basketball again and healthy,” Cunningham said. I'm happy to get out there and see what I've got.”
So how is his ankle feeling?
“It feels good, I'm ready to put it to the test,” he said.
