Anyone who watched Calvin Johnson play throughout his career with the Detroit Lions knows that he is arguably the greatest wide receiver to ever play the game. The plays that Calvin made on a routine basis made it look like he was playing against high school defenders.
On Saturday, Johnson was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, making him just the seventh wide receiver to ever make it in as a first-ballot nominee.
On Super Bowl Sunday morning, Johnson spoke to the media via a Zoom meeting and he had a message for Lions’ fans.
“I hope for you guys that its sooner rather than later,” Calvin said to reporters.

On Saturday night, Detroit Lions‘ legend Calvin Johnson was officially elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Ever since Calvin retired, he has been on bad terms with the Lions due to them making him pay back around $1 million of his signing bonus. Johnson has said that he would not have anything to do with the Lions until they paid him his money back.
