As we approach the third round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, a major policy change has been announced.
The Canadian federal government has approved a travel exemption for the final 2 rounds of the Stanley Cup playoffs that would allow NHL teams to cross the Canada-US border without quarantining.

“In addition to NHL’s COVID Protocol, NHL players and personnel will have to abide by all local public health rules,” said Canadian immigration minister Marco Mendicino said in a statement to the CBC.
So far this season, every Canadian team has played within the country against fellow Canadian clubs.
