There had been rumors circulating that the Carolina Panthers had been shopping WR Robbie Anderson and according to reports, they have found a buyer.
According to the Arizona Cardinals, they have agreed to a trade with the Panthers for WR Robbie Anderson.
What did the Cardinals give up to acquire Robbie Anderson from the Panthers?
Adam Schefter just gave a compensation update on the trade that is sending Anderson from the Panthers to the Cardinals.
According to Schefter, the Panthers have traded Anderson to the Cardinals in exchange for a sixth-round pick in 2024 and a 7th-round pick in 2025, per source.
The Cardinals receiving room is going to be much-improved moving forward
The Arizona Cardinals receivers’ room is going to get a HUGE boost moving forward and it is not just because they have traded for Robbie Anderson.
In addition to adding Anderson to the mix, the Cardinals will also get DeAndre Hopkins back for Thursday Night Football.
Back in May, Hopkins was suspended by the NFL after he violated the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy.
Unfortunately, Marquise Brown, who has been the Cardinals’ top receiver so far in 2022, is likely done for the season after he suffered a foot injury on Sunday.
