FROM EARLIER:
We passed along a report earlier that Boise State was withdrawing from the Arizona Bowl against Central Michigan due to COVID-19 issues.
Well, according to a report, Central Michigan is on the verge of finding a new bowl game to play in.
Colin Deaver is reporting that the Chippewas are “very close” to landing a spot in the Sun Bowl, where they would take on Washington State.
Deaver says the decision could come very soon.
Sources tell KTSM that the Sun Bowl is "very close" to getting Central Michigan to come to El Paso to play Washington State. Could have a final answer within the next 30 minutes.
