According to Adam Schefter, the Chicago Bears are expected to name Mitchell Trubisky as their starting QB for their Week 1 matchup vs. the Detroit Lions.
Trubisky beat out Nick Foles for the starting gig.
In 2019, Trubisky played very well in two wins over the Lions.

It’s due to his progression, leadership and overall performance throughout camp. Nick Foles made decision difficult for Matt Nagy, but the team feels strong about its QBs.
