According to a report from Ian Rapoport, Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield suppfered a torn labrum in his left shoulder on Sept. 19 during a game against the Houston Texans.
Rapoport adds that Mayfield does not need surgery at this time and theat he is wearing a shoulder harness so that he is able to play.
Mayfield said on Wednesday that the harness should not affect his play on the field but this is certainly something to pay attention to moving forward.
Baker Mayfield will continue to play through the ailment. Asked yesterday by reporters if the shoulder harness affects his play, he said: “It shouldn’t, no.” https://t.co/aw8L4Jz1GL
