College Football Playoff Semifinal: No. 2 Michigan vs. No. 3 Georgia score prediction

It. Is. Almost. Time!!!

On Friday night, No. 2 Michigan will take on No. 3 Georgia in the College Football Semifinal at the Orange Bowl.

The winner of the game will advance to the CFP National Championship Game against the winner of No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Cincinnati. Those teams will be playing in the Cotton Bowl earlier in the day.

Here is all of the information you need for Friday night’s game.

Game: Orange Bowl (No. 2 Michigan vs. No. 3 Georgia)

Date: Friday, Dec. 31

Time: 7:30 p.m. ET

Location: Hard Rock Stadium – Miami Gardens, Florida

TV: ESPN

Live stream: fuboTV (Try for free)

Point Spread: Georgia -7.5

Over/Under: 45.5

In my opinion, Michigan is a team of destiny and they are going to give Georgia everything they can handle and more in the Orange Bowl on Friday night.

Prior to the start of the 2021 season, I predicted that Georgia would run the table and win the CFP National Championship as I believed they had the most complete team in the nation.

The biggest matchup in the Orange Bowl will be Georgia’s dominant defensive line against Michigan’s outstanding offensive line. If the Wolverines O-line can at least hold their own against the Bulldogs D-line, things will bode well for the maize and blue.

My belief is that the Michigan offensive line will hold their own, which will lead to positive rushing attempts and time for Cade McNamara to set up and find his receivers and running backs.

When all is said and done, Michigan will advance to the College Football Playoff National Championship game.

FINAL SCORE PREDICTION:

No. 3 Georgia 20

No. 2 Michigan 24
